  • Dr.
    Grant Nixon
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Nixon has been practicing compassionate veterinary medicine in Penticton for many years. He co-wrote a Canadian best-selling book called Better Food for Dogs. He is very busy outside of the clinic with four children and a furry child Josie (miniature Daschund). Dr Nixon currently enjoys kite boarding and water skiing whenever he can get away to the water.

    David Kopp
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Kopp's greatest passion is his family. He and his wife Magnhild and dog Chewbacca spend time with their children camping, hiking, travelling, renovating, and socializing. Dr. Kopp's life philosophy is to keep busy, to make a positive contribution and to continually strive for personal improvement. 'There is no greater joy than to help the companions with which we share our lives.

    Daniel Robertson
    Veterinarian

    Dr Robertson grew up in the beautiful Okanagan so he is happy to be back living here.  He spends his free time with his wife and 2 young daughters. He stays active with hiking, mountain biking and kiteboarding.

    Jennifer Kenyon
    Veterinarian

    Jennifer grew up right here in the south Okanagan so she is excited to return to the Okanagan. She keeps busy with her family hiking, horse back riding, cross country skiing and making beautiful babies. Her fur family includes 2 dogs: Mud and Dex.

    Courtney Ek
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Courtney is a born-and-raised Pentictonite returning to her roots after completing her veterinary education in Saskatoon. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys hanging out with her beautiful cat (Kitan), reading, knitting, and hiking with her labs (Abby and Harold). She recently bought a house with her boyfriend, Todd, and is happy to be calling Penticton home again. She looks forward to the mild winters, spectacular summers, and getting more involved in the community.

    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals led to a passion for caring for animals. Samantha stays active with slo-pitch and wallyball, and busy spending time with friends and snuggling pets. She has 2 cats Farley and Karma, and 2 dogs Bella and Tia. She is a strong advocate for small breed dogs and nicknamed 'The Chihuahua Whisperer'.

    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Shelley has been working as an veterinary technician since 1995! Her first baby, a beautiful Doberman ‘Jean-Luc’ enjoyed many years competing in conformation, obedience, hiking, camping, travelling and he was even ring bearer at her wedding. Shelley is now the proud mamma of 2 beautiful girls (yes, humans), a loyal rescue dog ‘Biscuit’, a cute little pug named Bruce, a rescue cat ‘Thomas’ Magnum (rescue) and 2 rats named ‘Tattertot’ (rescue) and ‘Boo’.  She enjoys hiking with the dogs, traveling, gardening, crafting, and building with her daughters fun adventures for their rats. Her house and heart are full but beware, she may try to mother your pets as well.

    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Kim has four fur-babies- three cats. Broly, Skwizgar and Sclounce; and a dog, Cole, who was her enrichment dog at school in Ontario. When not taking care of her little friends, she likes to let her hair down, literally, by going to concerts and festivals where she can let the animal inside her out! Kim is also a big gamer and can usually be found at her computer playing action-adventure to puzzles-while still rocking out of course! However, nothing beats a good ol' hike with Cole or some snuggle time with the cats.

    Reception

    Heather has been working here since 1993! She loves to go walking and hiking with her two Scottish Deerhounds, Hocus and Sparrow. You can often spot her walking her 'big, grey, weird-looking dogs' around town.

  • Naomi .
    Veterinary Assistant

    Naomi moved to Penticton in 2004, with her 1 kitty, Tye. She’s been collecting pets ever since! On her days off, you will either find Naomi up a mountain with the dogs taking thousands of pictures, or having a blast at a Rally Obedience trial. Her dogs Jaymie, and Hattie have numerous titles in several different dog sports including Rally Obedience, Agility, Scent Detection and Trick Training. She is constantly taking training classes with her dogs and admits she is a dog sport addict.

  • Tianna
    Veterinary Assistant

    After Tianna graduated from her Veterinary Assistant program, she rescued a dog named Prada which influenced her to open her heart to animals who need a home as she now has two cats named Link and Cleo. In her free time she always has her headphones on, with a cat on her lap and playing the Legend of Zelda as she named her cat Link after the main character!

    Reception Team

    Linda has been working at our hospital since 1997. She keeps busy with a passion for encaustic art, shoe shopping and spending time with her 5 grandchildren.
