- Vaccinations and Thorough Physical Exams
We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. Our exams are 20 minutes long and allow plenty of time for you to discuss any behavioural or medical concerns you may have.
- 24-Hour Emergency Service
Emergencies can occur at any time. For some emergencies, we may refer you to Fairfield Animal Emergency in Kelowna. They are open and fully staffed 24 hours a day and can provide excellent service at any hour. Also, it comforting to know that pets there are being monitored throughout the night. We are very lucky to have a clinic that specialises in emergency care so close.
- Dental Care
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use a modern and safe ultrasonic scaler to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. The end result is pearly white and fresh breathe!
AS OF JUNE 2018 WE NO LONGER OFFER BOARDING
- Euthanasia Services
Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include communal and private cremation services. With communal cremation the ashes are spread over an orchard. With private cremation you get the ashes back either in a scatterbox or an urn. The scatterbox allows you to scatter as you wish or put in an urn of you own. We also have additional urn styles to choose from. The standard urn we provide is a dark stained wooden box with a brass nameplate with your pet's name and the following inscription "Forever Faithful, Forever at Peace". For $10 you can personalise the nameplate as you wish with your own inscription or pet's lifespan dates, etc. Please see our 'Pet Loss' section to prepare for euthanasia and to help you afterwards.
Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.
- Nutrition Counseling
Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.
- Pain Management
Pets feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognising and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.
